Slow sketch? …

…a contradiction in terms, I know. Nevertheless it is a sketch in that it’s pen on paper and its purpose is to check something out for a painting – the idea being to make most of the mistakes in the sketch. It is the same size as the painting and though slow it’s nowhere near as slow as the painting!
