aloha Andy. I agree that painting is a verb. in my own personal definitions I see “art” as a verb as well – arting. art on. aloha.

Thank you for commenting Rick. I think I like that notion…. still pondering it.

Like Oh Calcutta! (Man Ray?) but that would be “Oh! Calcutta!”. Maybe “Oh! Diagonality” would make a better title.

Yours is a most outwardly experimental process Andy. Certainly a ‘doing’ word!

So much so that you said it twice! – Thanks for commenting Geoff. Do you mean the one painting on an otherwise empty wall? (The canvas itself is not singe its is a quad – but I guess you spotted that).

Amazing – I wouldn’t have noticed the strong upward movement of those blue and green-tipped parallelogram shapes when the canvas was photographed flat, until you photographed it at a distance on the wall. Really adds a whole new level of beauty to the piece. Nice work, Andy.

Thank you, you are too kind! There is something different about seeing it side on. (I am working on another painting that I have been trying to resolve for months that ONLY looks good side on!)
