Thanks for commenting Richard. I guess an answer to your question “why does it work so well?” might depend on what it is that you think is working. Would I be answering a question with a question? It is an arrangement of nested circular gift boxes I bought many years ago from Ikea.

Did IKEA include instructions how to nest the boxes? Did they hire Yves Kline to add that stunning blue?
