Recently I have been experimenting with a different way of writing poetry.

I got the idea from an activity on sentence structure and word class that I sometimes get my tutees to do.

The method goes like this:

1. Write out lists of about twenty nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs.
2. Cut them up, turn them over and put them in piles according to word class.
