I don’t know what to make of these

For me sketching has recently become largely a matter of rearranging stretchers. I have become fascinated by how many variables there are even with the simplest of images.

I don’t know what to make of the two combination pictured below. One moment I think they are interesting and then later I think that it’s like my snapshots: I am amused by them but others are looking at me funny.

  1. I see a form that remains steady, like a core idea that holds, while something else changes, opens and closes, a bird flying toward you, wings up, wings down, but the body holds its form.
